The wave of protests against the Italian designer Roberto Cavalli doesn’t stop. Today hundreds of Sufi students gathered to raise their voices against the fashion designer, who has copied their sacred school symbol, which has been trademarked for 27 years.
Many members of the public were very supportive and many had already heard about the global protests via social media, TV reports, and newspapers. The demonstration in Cologne was again a great success for the Sufi students. All who witnessed the protest could see remarkable resemblance between the logos.
Members of the press were present and one of the local German newspapers in Cologne has already written an article about today’s demonstration. Berlin will be the next German city, where demonstrations will take place on 12th July 2014 #takeoffjustlogo.
