It is very interesting how Roberto Cavalli claimed in 2013 that he is getting his inspiration from Persia, Africa and Arabian architecture.
In 2011 he was quoted in Vogue as saying “I start to understand that God is really the best designer, so I started to copy God.”
The contradictions in his work ethos are clear to all to see.
However it does not stop at inspiration alone. In 2004 his vindictive attack on the Hindu faith – Cavalli openly disrespects and degrades faith groups.
It appears that Cavalli – so inspired by God has become delusional and developed a false sense of grandeur – much like Caesar a millennia ago and this false sense of grandeur is further highlighted as we have seen in recent press coverage where models, the so called modern day angels, are pictured kissing his behind.
Therefore it appears he is all set to go.
Mr. Cavalli. Stop copping our Sacred Emblem.
