On Saturday June 7th, 2014 Sufi students gathered in front of Neiman Marcus on 5300 Wisconsin avenue NW in Washington DC. The students started their rally by chanting at 1 pm EST and continued to do so relentlessly until 4 PM. Two speeches were given one about corporate attacks of faith and another regarding the lack of creativity Roberto Cavalli has shown by repeatedly using sacred emblems for his financial gain.
Today, a large number of them stood out in the heat for four hours to have their voices heard. The manager of Neiman Marcus files a complaint against their rally and tried to put an end to their rally. However, due to the fact that the Sufi students had permit from the city police and they were having a peaceful demonstration the police told the manager that he cannot stop them for they are not doing anything wrong. The Sufi students continue to hold global rallies until they take their logo back and nothing will stop them.
